IC MOSFET Driver RT9605B

The RT9605B is a high-frequency, triple-channel synchronous MOSFET driver-specific repair money designed to drive six-power N-MOSFETs. This IC promoted to pair with Richtek's multiphase buck PWM controller family for high-density power supply implementation like RT8802A. Driver output can RT9605B efficiently switch power MOSFETs in the frequency 300kHz normally. You can use APM2518N and APM2558N.
Operate at higher frequencies must take into account Carefully heat dissipation. Each driver RT9605B able to move a load in 30/40ns 3NF up / down time with small propagation delay from input transition power MOSFET gate. The device implements bootstrap on top with only an external gate capacitors and diodes are required. This reduces the circuit complexity and allows the use of higher performance, cost effective N-MOSFET. All drivers incorporate adaptive shoot-through protection to prevent the upper and lower MOSFET from performing simultaneously and shorting input supply. The RT9605B also detects errors conditions at the time of initial start-up before a multi-stage PWM controller takes control. As a result, input supply will latch into the shutdown state. The RT9605B come for a small footprint package with VQFN-24L 4x4 package.

IC Multi-Phase PWM Controller RT8802A

RT8802A is an IC Multi-Phase PWM Controller that include a  2/3/4/5-phase synchronous buck controller specifically designed to power Intel/AMD next generation microprocessors. It's used in an internal 8-bit DAC that is identified by VID code of microprocessor directly. RT8802A generates VID table that conform to Intel® VRD10.x and VRD11 core power with 6.25mV increments and 0.5% accuracy.RT8802A adopts innovative time-sharing DCR current sensing technique to sense phase currents for phase current balance, load line setting and over current protection. Using a common GM to sense all phase currents eliminates offset and linearity variation between GMs in conventional current sensing methods. As sub-milli-ohm-grade inductors are widely used in modern motherboards, slight offset and linearity mismatch will cause considerable current shift between phases. This technique ensures good current balance in mass production.
This IC use together with IC RT9605B in a motherboard and some of mosfet n-channel like APM2518N and APM2558N.
